Job Overview: The Expert Laundress is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day execution of laundry and wardrobe management for a large luxury private estate on Maui. 

This role requires expert-level laundry and wardrobe management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to both perform and lead at the highest standards.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of verifiable experience in luxury private estate housekeeping, five-star resorts, or ultra-high-end residential service.
Documented expert-level laundry and wardrobe experience.
Proven experience in:
      Guest hospitality
      High-end cleanliness and presentation standards
Physical ability to perform hands-on work for extended periods.

Areas of Responsibility:

1. Expert Laundry & Wardrobe Management

• Serve as the lead expert laundress for the estate.
• Perform and oversee:
      Personal laundry
      Fine linens and bedding
      Couture, delicate fabrics, and specialty garments
      Pressing, steaming, and professional finishing
• Maintain detailed fabric-care protocols.
• Manage wardrobe organization.
• Determine outside specialty cleaning when required.
• Train all team members on proper laundry and wardrobe SOPs.
• Audit laundry quality daily to guarantee flawless execution.

2. SOP Compliance, Auditing & Quality Control

Master all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for:
      Laundry & garment care
      90%: Linen shirts, swimwear, athletic wear
      10%: High-end garments (rare but must be capable)
Conduct daily and weekly audits to guarantee:
      Consistent execution
      No procedural drift
      Immediate correction of variances
Maintain documentation of training, audits, and performance issues.

Start Date: ASAP

 

Expected Job Duration: Long-Term

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

 

Compensation: $100,000-150,000, DOE
