Household Assistant Needed For Private Family On Kauai

Job Overview: Basic domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. On Kauai in the Wailua Homesteads area.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic household support, including:
      • Food preparation
      • Grocery shopping and other errands
      • Laundry
      • Cleaning (he does not have a housekeeper) 

Required Qualifications:
      • Comfortable preparing simple foods, including meat (advanced cooking experience NOT required)
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
      • Professional demeanor and reliability
      • Capable of lifting 40 lbs without concern
      • Fluent in English and capable of following both written and oral instructions

Ideal Candidate:
      • Clean-cut, professional, and highly organized
      • Prior experience in domestic support roles
      • Comfortable working with an ex-military employer who values structure and professionalism
      • Adaptable to an employer with specific preferences regarding how tasks are done
      • Detail-oriented and willing to learn and follow specific instructions
      • Easygoing but respectful and polished in communication
      • Able to take initiative while also following directions closely

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 8 months or longer if it's a great fit

Schedule: Start time 9:30 or 10:00 AM
Probably five hours per day, four days per week, between Monday and Saturday. For example 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri
* Client may have some flexibility for later start times
* Guaranteed 20 hours a week

Compensation: $35-$40 per hour
